I felt as good as I have in a long time. When I was missing, I was missing down. The one pitch I left up was the triple. That nearly cost me the ballgame.

They shouldn't be. No one is. We'll really have to screw up a six-game lead in however long we have left. That's the way I look at it.

The guy likes to win. He hates to lose. He'll go out there and have a 1-2-3 inning and be as mad as can be because he made one bad pitch to one guy. He wants to be perfect. He's a competitor.

It's not a big deal. Just a little stiffness the first time out because I didn't throw a ball all winter.

It was a fastball because I wasn't going to walk in a run there. I was going to throw him a strike and make him hit the ball. I thought it was a good pitch. I would have never guessed the ball was going to go out of the park.
