I was a lot happier offensively this week. I saw a lot of bright spots.
douglas hit
I thought that was uncalled for. The hit on Douglas was really late.
douglas good hesitate
Douglas has very good hands, and he doesn't hesitate in traffic. He doesn't play scared.
beckett coach good hate missed player
I couldn't tell what happened, really. I missed it. I tell you, though, that kid's a good player and I hate it for Coach Beckett and his staff.
chase game gave great running screens spark top
Chase gave us a spark on offense, and he had a great game top to bottom. He did it from the running game and especially with screens out of the backfield.
mistakes simple sloppy tackling
Well, we were still kind of sloppy in the first half. We made a lot of simple mistakes in tackling and, again, penalties.
allow rusty slow track
We're still a little rusty on defense. And this slow track doesn't allow us to get into our offense, but that's no excuse.
lean plays sam
We're going to lean on Sam all season. He makes plays no one else can make.
