certainly finish good played pride stigma year
It's not an all-important thing to us, but there is some pride involved. We certainly didn't want to finish this year going into the postseason under .500 and have that stigma on us. More importantly, we played good baseball.

ball behind care good hitter job nice normally press seeing selective
It's natural, I don't care how long you're in the game, to press a little. He's not being as selective as he normally is; he's not seeing the ball too well right now. He's too good a hitter -- he'll come out of it. He's doing a nice job behind the plate.
good nice start trip
It's nice to start this trip like this. We had some good at-bats to get the walks.
bothering movement neck
It's really bothering him. He doesn't have the movement in his neck some days.
fastball looked
It looked like he didn't get it where he wanted it, ... It was a fastball or cutter out over the plate.
care win
It's in our hands. We like to win ballgames. That's what we need to do - take care of business.
add failure runs talked
The failure to add on runs after a big first inning has been a problem. We've talked about it. We have to come out if it.
felt guys hope management miss rob staff
I'm going to miss Rob and Davey. These are two guys I think the world of. My hope was to keep the staff intact. Management felt differently.
days
That'll give (Giles) two days to freshen up.
aggressive good handled knowing pressure puts similar spring stay stayed
That puts a little pressure on you, knowing you probably need a good spring to stay here. He handled it very well. He didn't back off. He was aggressive from the get-go and stayed that way. It was something similar to Khalil Greene.
good great helping job stop
Eaton did just a great job of helping us stop this little skid that we've been in. No getting around it, that's a good one to get, the way things have been going.
cut face game shut top work
Pedro pitched very well. You know you have your work cut out when you face him, and he was on top of his game and shut us down.
best coming gives
It gives us, I think, probably our best pinch-hitter coming off the bench,
