advantage bad ball clay excited kept mixed rotation taking victim
Clay was outstanding. He kept the ball down, mixed his pitches. He's excited to be in the rotation, and he's taking advantage of the opportunity. He was the victim of a little bad luck, but he's in the rotation to stay.
bothering movement neck
It's really bothering him. He doesn't have the movement in his neck some days.
mistake rather retro
If we retro this, we could get him back sooner, rather than make a mistake and put him out there now and have him aggravate it.
facing
It showed enough in there for us to be concerned. We could be facing surgery.
couple looking strength
Obviously, we're looking at at least a couple of months. They feel they can get his strength back before the end of the season.
couple definitely full guys hurt
It definitely hurt because we've got a couple of guys down now so we're not at full strength,
comment
I don't have any real comment on that.
knows nice park
He knows this park as well as anybody. He had a nice series.
besides best close coming guy reason wish
It's very close between the two. I wish I had a better reason besides what I just told you. I think Sweeney is our best guy coming off the bench.
fun great guys played
He played great tonight. He's fun to watch, isn't he? He's one of those guys that glides.
lacking
One thing we are lacking is power, ... It would be big if we could get him going.
favorite
Ash is one of my all-time favorite ballplayers.
pitcher
Jake's a gamer. He's a big-game pitcher with an outstanding future.
adam ball cash couple quite threw tough
It's a tough loss. I thought Adam (Eaton) threw the ball well. We just couldn't quite cash in on a couple of opportunities there.
