contact good kids minds since
I thought it was good for us to get back together, and get their minds off what had happened. The thing is, though, since the storm, we've never had all of our kids back, and we have some we haven't been able to make contact with.

It's good to know that we have somebody who's taken some snaps in a game situation. What was big for him was that he didn't do anything to get us beat. For a kid who'd never played in a varsity game, he did what he needed to do.
building foundation next special year
This is a special day for this program. This is part of the foundation we're building here, and hopefully, we'll have more up here next year at this time.
behind came early fell hung win
The big thing about the win is that we fell behind 12-2 early and came back. Especially with these kids, it was very, very big that we hung in and did what we had to do to win.
looks ready
They should be ready to go. Darin has been practicing, so it looks like he'll be back in the lineup.
best helped kids monday next practiced word
We practiced that next Monday (Sept. 5). We got the word out as best we could that if they could make it, we were going to practice. I think it helped the kids a lot to get back around their friends.
