biggest issue pitching whether
Pitching wasn't the biggest issue. We know he can pitch. It's a durability issue and whether he maintains his stuff.
both figure free game league looked send threw trying whether
Both of them looked like they threw free and easy. Now we're trying to figure out what we're going to do with Bautista -- whether we're going to send him to the Instructional League or whether we're going to have another simulated game for him before the Instructional League.
above fit goes good guys league major notch possibly third utility whether
Graff, obviously, goes in a utility role, but probably a notch above that. We need to get him in the lineup as much as we possibly can, whether it is first, third or second. We'll be able to give those guys a day off here and there. Graff is a good Major League player. He's a good fit for our team.
against guy losing streak whether winning
Whether you've got an eight-game winning streak or an eight-game losing streak going, when you go against a guy like him, you'll probably lose.
changes chemistry course developed good spring
I think we're all very optimistic. Because of the changes we made over the winter, because of the chemistry we developed through the course of spring training, I think we all feel pretty good about where we're at right now.
delays help rain
I think the two rain delays didn't help matters.
holes seems
We got back in the game, but it seems we never have enough. We have too many holes in the lineup to keep things going.
consistent overall results strike
Results are everything, I guess. Denny just has to be more consistent in the strike zone. Overall he was good, but could be better.
bottom guys kid last line looked
I thought he looked the same as he did last year. The bottom line is he's a big kid who can get guys out.
bit concerned deeper ready sure
I'm still a bit concerned about his stamina, his durability and getting deeper into the game. We've got to make sure when he pitches, he's ready to give us some innings. We need to get him starts. How we do that, I'm not sure.
affects depending
It affects it a lot, depending when he can comeback. If he would come back tomorrow, which isn't going to be the case, there's no issue.
affects split
It affects his split and his slider. It's more precautionary than anything.
biggest facing five guy mainly pitching runs tough
We just weren't able to do anything mainly because he was pitching so well. The biggest part of the day was the five runs early. When you're facing a guy like that, it's a tough situation.
feels good hopefully hoping monday today tomorrow
Optimistically, we're hoping he'll be back in the lineup Tuesday, ... Today is Saturday. Hopefully he'll feel good tomorrow and be able to do something, see how it feels on Monday and play Tuesday.
