I think every job that you do gives you the opportunity to learn something new. As hokey as that sounds, that's why I have a problem saying no to my friends. That's why I do so many random comedy shows.
There are some people that don't take jobs because they think that they're too good for them or that they aspire to do something greater than the job that they're being presented with. I've just never been from that school.
I just take jobs that will have me. I'm an actress that works. I'm not an actress who's ever waited.
Your first pregnancy you have nothing to do except sleep and take care of yourself and go to prenatal yoga or whatever. Now I have a full-time job, I have a four-year-old, I've got a life that is demanding my attention, so I've gone to prenatal yoga once. It's such a bummer.
I certainly did plays in high school and community theater, and I want to get back on the stage.
It's so hard to find the time. I only have one kid and it's hard with one kid. I can't imagine people who have more than that.
