asked fire guy players problem rod
Rod said the guy was the real deal, so I asked him why did he fire him. Rod said that he (Scott) had a problem with one of the players for something Byron said to the media.
hit knocked worry
I worry about him every day. Every game, there's a possibility of the thing getting hit and knocked out of place or something.
double guys magnitude needed seven step
For a 20-year-old, he really understands the magnitude of these games. We just needed other guys to step up, and we did that with seven guys in double figures.
adjustment offense repetition single steven
There'll be an adjustment for Steven because this is an offense that he hasn't done. But again, once we get him in, we'll go over it every single day with him just to try to get him as comfortable as possible. ... achievement bigger experience gotten guys key last looking nice season terrible wins
It's not an achievement, it's what we expected. We've gotten to .500; now the key is to keep going. There are a lot of young guys that didn't experience the terrible season we had last year; the 19 wins is a nice accomplishment, but were looking to do bigger things this season.
hoping
I don't know. I'm hoping I'll be here long enough to find out.
few perfect playing time today weeks
I said a few weeks ago that J.R. wasn't playing well and if it continued, I would have to make some changes, and today was the perfect time to do that.
