acted blew bottom came quarter third
We didn't play like we wanted to win. We came out in the third quarter and acted like we were up 20. We blew it, that's the bottom line.
acted came game gets league light quarter rarely switch third turn walking
We came out in the third quarter and acted like we were walking in the park. Then as the game gets tight, we try to turn that light switch back on. Very rarely in this league are you going to be able to do that.
both ends floor fourth glaring good holes mentally quarter team tough win
We're just not a very good team right now. There are a lot of glaring holes at both ends of the floor for us. We are having opportunities to win in the fourth quarter but are not mentally tough enough to get the stops.
game guys lead loss maybe quarter sooner third understand won
You hope, sooner or later, the young guys understand and get it. When you have a lead like that, you can't come out in the third quarter and think the game is over. Maybe a loss like this, when we know we should have won the game, that will do it.
blocking came great heck job quarter second space taking
Deke came in the second quarter and did a heck of a job. He was doing a great job of blocking shots, taking up space and that?s what we needed.
bad came effort flat guys quarter third tried urge urgency
I tried to urge our guys to come out in the third quarter with some urgency and try to get something going, we came out as flat as we did in the first half. It's just a very bad effort on our part.
balls fourth loose match playing quarter third
They were playing harder. They were getting after loose balls, long rebounds. We had to match their energy. In the third quarter and fourth quarter, we did a much better job.
cheering fantastic job
I thought they did a fantastic job cheering us on.
effort guys points talking win
I thought our effort was much better. Defensively we're just having way too many lapses. Guys aren't communicating out there and talking to each other. You give up (52) points in the paint, you're not going to win too many games.
decision everybody forward glad looking playing
I think all the players, everybody in our organization is glad that it's over with and the decision has been made and we can just keep looking forward to playing basketball.
few guys hard locker mental physical room simple team toughness understand watch
I think a few of those guys in that locker room have quit. It's disappointing to me; (those guys) won't be here, it's as simple as that. We have no mental or physical toughness on this team right now. It's just hard to watch that; it's hard to watch these young guys that don't understand and don't get it.
easier fall five gives guard jason point rely six
It gives us a different dimension, because we don't rely on one or two guys. We rely on five or six guys. If you have a point guard like Jason Kidd, it makes it easier for everyone else to fall into place.
base basketball change fan hurricane louisiana might people
I think they would understand. All the people that were in Louisiana before the hurricane are not there right now, so I don't think the fan base is there right now for our basketball team, especially right now in this month. It might change in March.
bottom guys jason join percent plays
Jason plays at 110 percent in every game. We need other guys to join him. That's the bottom line.
