We just want people to comply with the state insurance laws. If they have insurance on their cars, then they have nothing to worry about.

Obviously, he was specific in looking for electronics, and this church has them. It's unusual for a burglar to return to the same place. We are fortunate that this church has such great surveillance.

Many people are traveling during spring break. Be aware of the increased traffic on the highways and drive safely. Always tell people where you are going. Carry a cell phone in case of an emergency.

There have been a trend lately that the person that is throwing the party collects the keys and then gives them back out at the end of the night to those who have not been drinking.

They made three trips into the store. They took 30 jeans, left the store to a waiting car ... came back in and took 30 more, left and then came back a third time.

As for widespread searches, we aren't doing that, but if a lead comes about a location we will certainly check it out.

We having a really good crew working that 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. shift, and these guys always have higher DUI numbers.

I have not been made aware of any increased security. We do have a school resource officer on that campus. Any additional security, PISD will look at it and decide whether they need it or not.

In addition, make sure your car is in good working order and someone back home knows the route you are taking.

By all means, if you suspect anyone has tampered with anything you are consuming, don't take any chances. Do not eat or drink whatever it is, and report it to owners/managers of the establishment.
