coming doubt intention leaving people question thrown
The question has been thrown up a lot. People have been hounding me. There is no doubt I'm coming back. I have no intention of leaving school.
ask bunch cameras community crazy difference gonna honestly knew leading people school tv
There were like 20 TV cameras there, and the whole school was packed into the little gym. There were a bunch of people from the community -- it was crazy in there. It was like I was about to get drafted. The only difference leading up to that was, I knew where I was going to play, even if no one else did. This time, people ask me where I'm gonna go, and I honestly have no idea.
believes people playoffs rookie run super win
I'm one of those people who believes in goals, so I set them high. I wanted to come in and run for well over 1,000 yards, win Rookie of the Year, go to the playoffs and win the Super Bowl.
next riding starting time
I'm starting to feel it. But so much is still riding on this season, so much still riding on this next game, there's just no time to relax.
confidence game playing
You know us ballplayers. We always feel like we can do just about anything. You've got to have that confidence playing this game that we play.
definitely forward games looking rest therefore third three
To me, this is just the third week. I'm in this thing for the long haul. I'm definitely looking forward to the rest of my career. I know three games would not make that, therefore it really hasn't sunk in yet.
due smith
Go back to Walter Payton and Emmitt Smith and those guys. They weren't 230- or 240-pound backs, but they did it every week. So I'm thinking, why can't I do it? ... In due time, we'll find out.
answer areas asked aspects both continuing excel expand expect far five focus forward game good great guess guy help knowledge looking mental number offense passing pick running surprised three week
I feel like every week I answer this question. I dont know that Im really that surprised. Obviously, being a number five pick in the draft, you expect the guy to have great talent, which he does. I guess if I was surprised about anything, I would say that hes been able to pick up on offense very quick, as far as the mental aspects of it. Now, we havent asked him to do everything, so its really been good for him to really focus on two or three areas of our offense and really excel at those areas. Im looking forward to him continuing to expand his knowledge of both the running game and the passing game. I think he can help us there.
bring park
Bring 'em on. The neighborhood park would be fine.
mother phone saw strange time
Every time my phone rings, it's my mother saying, 'I saw you on this show. I saw you on this and that,' ... It's just kind of strange right now.
america attacked built defense everybody fast knows
Everybody in America knows our defense is built on speed. At some point, fast is not always good. They attacked us perfectly, getting us to over-pursue.
good group looked nobody
Nobody looked us as a good group of linebackers,
definitely feeling game understand
There's still a little discomfort, but it's football. You're not going to go into every game feeling healthy. I definitely understand that. But overall, it actually did a lot better than I thought it was going to do today.
definitely
I should be fine. I'm definitely in pain, but you never feel good. I'm always going to hurt.
