early likes personal season sky somebody tackle
It's way too early in the season to say the sky is falling, ... no one likes to try to tackle somebody and come up with nothing. That's a personal embarrassment.
funny games last practices watched
The funny thing is, I've watched games from last year, practices from last year,
against boot fueled game looks offense passing running slowing success successful
Their offense is fueled by their running game and it is all set up off of that. Off of each run there is probably a boot that looks very similar. The more success you have slowing the running game down, the more successful you are against the passing game.
lessen people prepared realize teams watch
You've got to realize there are 31 other teams in the NFL, so you can't get discouraged and let your play lessen in any way, ... Everything you do (in practice) is on film and people are going to watch that film, so you've got to be prepared to play even if this is not the place where you'll end up playing.
breakdown football individual job team

best calls coach due fairly guy interested last mentor outside played soccer successful supportive wishes year
He not only was my soccer coach, but a mentor for life. He was a friend. I have nothing but best wishes for him. He was always very interested in us doing well outside of soccer. I last played for him 12 years ago and every year he calls me on my birthday. He was just always very supportive of everything in your life. It wasn't all about athletics. I'm a fairly successful guy now and a lot of it is due to him.
close coming confidence focus game guys handle home lose starting suppose week win
If we find a way to win this game, I want to see how we handle all the success. How will we react? We've got a bye week coming up. Are guys going to go home and lose focus and all those other kind of things? Suppose we lose this game by some close score. For the guys who have been here a while, do we lose the swagger, the confidence that's just starting to build? Do we think, 'Oh, this is just like it was before around here?' That's why this is so huge.
best both guys legendary legends ourselves pressure pretend roles trying
Monty and I have both put pressure on ourselves to be the best we can be. But those guys are legends around here for a reason--they've made legendary plays, ... You have two different guys trying to play those roles on the team, but we can't pretend to be those guys. We have to be Monty and Chad.
