chance kept quarter season team wife
I told my wife about a quarter of the way through the season that I thought this team had a chance to be special. Everyone kept overlooking us and we just kept winning.
kept slow spreading striking within
Slow but sure, we kept spreading it out, and we never were going to let them come back within striking distance.
five last scenario three worried
As a coach, you never want it to be real close, but I was kind of worried about how we were going to react. Because we've never been in this scenario before, and they've been there three of the last five years.
adrenaline believe games guys level sports trust
These guys believe in each other and trust in each other and the coaches. The more the games get tense, the more we relax. I don't know if it's an adrenaline rush, but the guys get very level headed.
hard kids miss noticed played rubs says summer team works

ask asked good improve quicker release running until worked
That's the thing with Robert, if you ask him to do something, he does it until he's good at it. We asked him to get quicker and he worked all summer. We asked him to quicken his release and he worked all summer. We're running out of things for him to improve on.
against extremely good guards looking seeing seen
They have a lot of guards and good guard play and they're quick. It's pretty much the same thing as us. I've seen them play once against GCMS. I know Steffen is extremely good. Looking at CPCI is like seeing us.
beat except execute flashy hope
I know they execute real well and they're not going to beat themselves. They aren't real flashy except for the Tucker kid, and they're just going to do what they have to win. We have to hope that we execute just as well.
basketball best bought buy good knew playing team trusted
We knew we could be good as long as we could get them to buy into team first and things like that, and they've done that. They bought that from Day 1 and just kind of trusted each other. We started playing our best basketball at the end.
