Other than that inning, we didn't play too badly. I thought the first six innings were very promising for us. Billy Darryl Grant pitched well again and we got an opportunity to face three Dunbar pitchers who would be among the best in our region.

You'd think that with that many hits, including a couple of homers that we could win this game. But the theme of our season continues... not making the plays.

I'm really happy with our pitching right now. We had a few defensive lapses, but you have to expect that this early. We didn't hit the ball well, but we did have some timely hitting. That's something we didn't have all year last year.
