They live and die with their three-point shot; they got a lot of great three-point shooters. We're just trying to run them off that line -- either go to the rack or shoot mid-range shots. Because we know if they get it cooking from that three-point line, you could give yourself a long night.
I told Ben that I wished he had stayed in there. He's going to try to make those shots. We've got his back either way.
This is my first time, so I don't know how I would have felt if I made it four years ago as opposed to now. But the road I traveled was much tougher than a lot of these guys to make it to this game. It's special to me either way. It's a special weekend.
He's a good friend of mine. When Larry took that job, he called me like six times in two days.
It takes a while -- a long time, because we have so many different sets, options. It's not just the regular old sets that every NBA team runs. We run a lot of stuff. It's kind of complicated.
I don't think so. It's going to be a long time before we even possibly see each other (in the conference finals), and even if we do, our records will be 0-0.
I just wish that we had something where like after the game I got to talk about what happened down the stretch, why I did this or that. I wish we had something where the refs had to do it and explain what happened and why they did this and that. It just ain't fair, man.
I don't know what Rip was doing, but he was hot, so I just kept going to him. He was thirsty today.
I needed to get some extra work in. The same shots that I've been shooting just haven't been going in. I think it's just reps. We haven't had that much practice time. I haven't had that much time to work on it, so it's just repetition.
I need to get some extra work in. Same shots I've been shooting haven't been going.
I wanted him to stay in. Just keep trying to make them. We were going to try and make sure we got stops on the other end. We have each others' back anyway.
I welcome it, I welcome it. I let everybody else talk, I'm not going to talk about it.
He's (Ben Wallace) the best in the business, man. He has more energy than anybody, he rebounds better than anybody, his defensive presence is unreal. He's just doing what he does. That's Ben Wallace.
He gets twitching and being nervous. We're like, 'Man, relax, baby. Relax.' He's been like that forever.
