That's crazy. But, you know, it's been one of those special years. I just hope we keep it going.
That was a lot of fun playing in this building. It's been a long time since we had that college-game feeling.
Their trigger might be a little quicker with us than everybody else because of our reputation. We're not just going to let you do whatever you want and not say anything. We're vocal.
It would be nice if he was in here with us.
Dice was huge man, golly, he was huge. He's always capable of that.
The second game is usually the game you can steal most of the time. In any series, really. We know that. We're aware of that. We've lost that second game a few times. We have to come out knowing that and doing the right things.
I thought he played good. He was active. ... He had blocks. He played physical defensively and picked up a few fouls.
They haven't gotten off to the start they wanted, but this game doesn't mean the moves are not going to work. We'll see down the line. We can't answer that question now.
They've got a really good team. They're deep, they play hard, and they've got a lot of great shooters. If they get that three-ball going, they're tough. There are a lot of different situations we've got to be aware of.
Milicic created a brief fi restorm midway through last season when he griped publicly about his endof-the-bench status. For whatever reason, we feel like we can just kind of coast to the finish line and not do what we've done all season, to be looked at as the best team. We're getting away a little bit from what we do. Guys are, unfortunately, looking too far ahead to the playoffs.
They live and die with their three-point shot; they got a lot of great three-point shooters. We're just trying to run them off that line -- either go to the rack or shoot mid-range shots. Because we know if they get it cooking from that three-point line, you could give yourself a long night.
I'm very, very excited for this opportunity to kind of resurface in the community and the arena that I miss playing in and that I loved so much when I was there.
I think that for whatever reason we think that we can coast to the finish line, and not do what we have done all season. We are getting away from what we do, and guys are looking too far ahead to the playoffs. We have to do the things that we have always done. Teams aren't just going to lay down for us.
