We're definitely going to see those guys down the road. They're one of the elite teams in the league, so at some point ... we're going to lock up.
You know what I mean, just waiting to collide. There were some struggles in my first couple of months. There were definitely some struggles with Coach Brown. But we both sacrificed a lot. We came to a happy medium and it's been a perfect marriage ever since then. My game has definitely grown playing for Coach Brown. I think I look at the game in a different light. I understand that I can dominate a game now without having to score as much as I usually do on most nights.
We are definitely going to have to work it out where all of us are on the floor together. We've got the man that is in control of it, so we should be able to work that out.
What he meant to his game, not just to this city but to the entire league, with his sportsmanship and his class and his character, it doesn't come around often. Just the things that he did outside of this court, I think it's long overdue. He's definitely deserving.
Guys are definitely feeling good right now. We made it here healthy; that was our main goal. ... We're feeling great right now. I think there's a little extra pep in everybody's step today.
I'm excited to have the USA across my chest. I'm glad they thought I was capable enough to regain our dominance. So I am proud of that, and I am definitely looking forward to it.
It was just one of those nights. Sometimes the game is going a certain way, and I feel like I've got to try to step up and be aggressive shooting the ball. These have definitely been two tough games.
They're a good team, a lot better than the way they played this year. Of course they beat us already. I think they match up pretty good with us. They have a good mix. They're definitely a team we might have to see down the road some time.
I think we'll be a lot better offensively. Defensively, we could be as good. But when you play a faster-paced game, naturally, that other team is going to score a couple more points.
I think we'll be a little bit more up-tempo,
I think that for whatever reason we think that we can coast to the finish line, and not do what we have done all season. We are getting away from what we do, and guys are looking too far ahead to the playoffs. We have to do the things that we have always done. Teams aren't just going to lay down for us.
Larry beat him up too much. He tore the kid's confidence apart too much, and it was tough for him to recover,
You all know that sometimes we get bored. When something like that happens, it just fuels our fire a little bit, and good luck to the other team when that happens.
We're a family. You know we were going to come to his aid. But we weren't really surprised by that. Ever since that first little incident, every game we play they play a little extra hard and foul a little extra hard. Hey, it's part of the game.
