donors early felt holiday left normally quite shelves start year
The donors felt like they had done a lot on the early fall. Then, we didn't get as much as we normally do around the holiday season, which left us at the start of the new year with our shelves quite bare.

We are so grateful, but not many of (those) donations we utilize for our ongoing clients.
government rely volunteer
We get no government money; we rely on volunteer donation.
assistance holidays needy people require though
We still have needy people here in Allen, Fairview and Lucas, and they still require assistance even though the holidays are over.
