I got the call about the show when I was in my car. I had the meeting the same day, and we pretty much signed the deal.
For some reason the public has embraced me as a fashion icon, and I feel like it has diminished me as an actress. Or I don't get as much recognition as an actress -- and that upsets me.
We got along really well, thank God. We'd go out at night to parties and stuff, and hang out together.
