I won't let that spook me too much. I know I can make that. I can shoot high percentage from there.
We can't afford to shoot ourselves in the foot early in the game.
We definitely have to shoot our free throws better because if make our free throws it's a little different ballgame.
We work off of each other very well. He can shoot and I can shoot and he crashes the boards and does a good job of playing aggressively and cleaning up some of our misses.
He's a threat, he can play. His success has helped us as a team. He's been getting in the paint, he's been getting guys a lot of wide-open shots and he's been getting easy buckets. He can shoot the three and he doesn't take many bad shots, so when you have a point guard who can do all those things and create on the offensive side you can do a lot of things.
Some nights are like that, especially on the drive and kick. They sucked us in and knocked down threes. It's not too many nights in the league on the road where you have shooting games like that. So you have to tip your hat off to them for all of those threes.
You play anybody and if they shoot 70 per cent from three, they're going to be tough to beat.
I just think it's concentration. I spent a great deal of my time shooting free throws. As many jump shots as I take, I try to shoot as many free throws.
I think it's (the national team selection) a little bigger.
We finally get it to six and we stop doing those things sometimes. I can't explain it and it comes with experience. We keep seeing what (bad) happens when we try to it another way. We have to learn.
I think ... guys are really hungry to bring some prestige back.
It definitely lightens up the mood and gives us momentum.
I think this team has a good chemistry going for it right now. In the long run, it's going to be us. We understand that. We can just play with each other and not worry about anything, just worry about winning.
(My teammates) were making fun of me, saying I took the night off, I was fouling on purpose. But the outcome is we won the game, a lot of the guys played well, and this will bring a lot of confidence for other guys.
