Brian Christopher Broad, usually known as Chris Broad is a former English cricketer and broadcaster who currently serves as a cricket official. As an opening batsman, he played 26 Test matches for England and scored six centuries, together with 34 One Day International matches with a respectable over 40 average. He's a bit sore, battered and bruised but he has no broken bones. He was taken to hospital but was allowed home last night. He's having a couple of days off and hopefully he'll be back for the weekend. We'll just have to wait and see.
