There should be no significant consumer impact from this situation. There is a bountiful gasoline supply in this country. We condemn unscrupulous gouging, and I think there are signs that it will cease pretty quickly.

Prices are in the toilet. Everything I've read and everyone I've talked to in the industry, they all anticipate and seem to be preparing for these low-low prices to continue through most of or much of 1999.
