We need to play better. There's no doubt about that. Anybody's capable of beating anybody in this conference. I think sometimes people don't believe that, but it's very true.

He wasn't overpowering but he changed speeds. We didn't do a good job of adjusting to him. We did late in the game, but we hit into three double plays, which really kept us from getting any momentum.

We played more like we did earlier in conference play. We did a good job of executing on offense. We moved guys around and got them in. It was good to see.

This was a good win for us. Porterville was (ranked) fourth in the region, and to go in there and get a win was good for us.
