Matt had a huge senior season for us and a very good career. He epitomized what a high school athlete should be - hard-working in the classroom and on the court or in the field, respectful, dedicated, humble; the list could go on and on.

We had a great team effort again, using lots of different players to find the right mix.

We did a lot of things to put ourselves in position to win, but we just can't seem to make the big plays right now. The biggest problem we had was an inability to score runs. We only struck out four times in 21 plate appearances, which tells me we are putting the bat on the ball, but we are hitting it right at people.
