It was a really noisy crowd and hard to concentrate. You couldn't hear yourself think. We couldn't yell so we had to adjust. We were using hand signals, making up our own sign language. We had to really focus and try and block it all out.

I don't think we brought our 'A' game. This was our A-minus game. They'll have to bring their 'A' game and we'll have to bring our 'B' game for them to beat us.
canada good maybe needs rest teams ten
Ten years ago, maybe Canada was dominant. But there are so many good teams now. So Canada needs to go up and up and up just like the rest of them.
busy earlier gotten mentally time whirlwind
It was a whirlwind for us. It was really busy and stressful. A little earlier would have been nicer. More time to prepare, to mentally prepare. We could have gotten more international experience.

We didn't play as well as we could to get the gold medal. But this is the next best. So we're going to be happy.

Yesterday? We flushed yesterday. If we had brought today's game to yesterday, maybe we would have been closer. But we can't change yesterday. We came here to win the gold. Everybody does. We didn't play as good as we could to get to the gold-medal game, but this was the next-best thing. So we're happy with it.
