It wasn't because they were shooting lousy; they were contested shots. I thought we played pretty well. We handled their pressure. You can't fault the girls. They played hard.

Our preparation the last few days has been very good. I base all my judgment on preparation. The girls have played very consistently, like they have done all year.

She played the way we expect her to. She hit some shots right in the middle of their zone. (New Milford) closed on Jackie and Paige in the corners and that left the middle open.

We weren't trying to do anything special. We wanted to do what we'd practiced: Get the ball to half-court, get it to the corners, and make some diagonal passes to the basket.

We were trying to squeeze her, one (defender) over the top of her and one behind her. We took away the entry pass; they weren't getting the ball to her. She was getting the offensive rebound.
