It's the toughest group I've ever had to deal with. The reason why we've been so inconsistent this year has been the players just not buying into our philosophy. I've been trying to teach the game of basketball and life skills at the same time. It's been tough and frustrating, because with the talented players we have, we should be at the top of the conference.

It has been a struggle, going through so much adversity. Sometimes, it feels like I'm pushing a car up a North Bergen hill, like 76th Street. But I love what I do and look forward to it every day. It's not a job for me. Coaching basketball is a passion.
