He's one of the coolest characters in the business. Everybody here is a kid at heart, but he just shows it.
build feeling fourth lonely motivation quarter winning
You want to build off that feeling you had at the end of the fourth quarter when you're not winning the game. It's a quiet, lonely feeling, and it's something you don't like to feel. That's the motivation right there.
becomes call figure fly knows loose maniac time turn whatever
That's how he is. When he's out on the field, he becomes a madman. I figure that's when he knows it's time to turn it loose -- let out my hair, comb it out, let it be under my helmet, let me fly around like a maniac and get sacks and interceptions and whatever they call me to do.
building cement coach football last mentioned played week
Coach Cowher mentioned last week that we're still building our identity. I think we've put the cement down and we've got some two-by-fours up, but we've still got a long way to go. We've only played two football games, there's still a lot of football to be played.
beat became bowl came last played super time
The last time we played them, they came down and beat us and went to the Super Bowl and became champs. I think that's going to be on a lot of people's minds.
below draws flies looking number pointing watch worried
Everybody's worried about him. You can see the center, the quarterback always pointing at him -- 'Watch number 43! Watch number 43!' -- and looking where he's at. I think he draws most of the attention, so everyone else flies below the radar.
ball came edge emotional everybody front game home job passed ran resolve settled
Everybody came up with the resolve -- no more of this. We come out here in front of our home crowd, it's the first game of the season, and they just ran the ball and passed the ball down our throats. They executed way better than us. Once we got that emotional edge off, just being over-amped for the game, we settled down. We did our job and did what he had to do.
ball biggest chance difference field game gets hold offense past plays runs sit takes walk zone
The difference in this game is we made very big plays, the biggest plays you can make when there was a chance to make big plays. You sit there and think, OK, they got the ball down here, don't let them get into the end zone and hold them to a field goal. Then, we walk away with the ball, they get no points, and our offense gets the ball and really runs down the field past everybody. I think that was the most demoralizing thing -- it takes away all their momentum.
correct passes third week
He just made some passes and they got some yardage, ... They executed better. But it's the third week of the season. We'll correct our mistakes.
aside came field happy league media super
We came here to play football. We came here for the Super Bowl. We're happy to get out of the league media stuff, put it aside and get back out on the field and play some football.
adversity earned filled season super
This season was filled with adversity for us. We can say that we earned our way to the Super Bowl.
feeling looking outside shot super
We were sitting, looking at an outside shot to be in the Super Bowl. This is an unbelievable feeling to be here right now.

We came up with some big plays in the red zone,
crowd hard played plays seem silence stepped whenever
Whenever they would seem to be getting any momentum, we stepped up and would silence the crowd and silence them. We just played hard and made plays when we had to.
