chance crew gives hit session test three
These, ... are real important. It gives us a chance to do things we want to try. Every once in a while you will hit on something at a test session that gives you a big gain. My guys, Gil (Martin, his crew chief) always come out with a gain. Two or three things usually.
attitude changes guys mirror quite race somehow
You see those guys give and take with each other. Then they look in the mirror and somehow they know it's us back there and they're attitude changes quite a bit.
laps learn
That should help. In 250 laps I can learn where to pass, where to get runs, just learn how to pass.
deserve hard lose work
That's unfortunate for those guys. They don't deserve that. They work too hard to lose like that.

I like to have nothing more than to have it come down to him and me and have the shoe on the other foot. I have some unfinished business with Truex.
chevy good guys knew last race stop
I knew this AC Delco Chevy was really good in race runs. The guys had a good stop there on that last stop and got us a chance. What a good effort.
battle bottom cool guys last line martin rookie shoe year
If Martin has the equipment, he's going to be there. The bottom line is every one of those guys can take away the rookie of the year honors. It would be pretty cool to come down to the end of the year in a battle with Martin like it was last year and have that shoe on the other foot.

I need as much seat time as I can. Because most of these tracks I am going to, I have never been to before.

By no means am I going to count us out of this championship. This championship hunt isn't over until the last race in Homestead.

I'm a firm believer in getting things started right. Getting momentum built and getting confidence built. I know everybody will have a renewed spirit and a little extra spring in their step this weekend.
adrenaline agree both definitely three
I definitely agree with that. You've got your adrenaline pumping, and both of us were going for it. It was wild. It wasn't just at the finish. We were bumping each other all the way through (turns) three and four.
I don't think there's going to be any surprises, who's there and who's not.

The boss is over there hunting and fighting elephants and tigers and whatever else in Africa. He'll be pretty happy when he comes back: all three cars in the top 10. That's a heck of a job.

It was coming down to the point where your adrenaline is running and you're going for it. At that point, you're just going for it. You're not thinking about wrecking.
