I just can't say enough about Shannon. She deserved a first-team selection. I think she had an outstanding year and possibly one of best in school history. We are going to miss her. Aside from her performance week-in and week-out, she was a great leader and mentor for the girls.
bound chances dropping gave hitting ourselves shots start trouble
I thought we gave ourselves a lot of chances today. We had a little trouble on the greens, but if we keep hitting shots like we hit today, we are bound to start dropping some putts.
decent greens score struggling time tough
I thought Shannon had a decent day by her standards. She had a tough time with her putts, but for her to score a 74 when she is struggling on the greens is pretty good.
gate great played solid start steady time
For her first time out of the gate this season, I thought Shannon played a very solid round. She was steady throughout, and I think it is a great start for her.
