At the top end of the business, a horse has to keep climbing the ladder. Ever since the spring, every month, she matured and she headed the right way. They don't all do that.

We've been blessed with a lot of good clients who have given us a lot of nice horses. But Mr. Lewis gave them to us in quantity. The impact he had on us was huge. He gave us a lot of top-of-the-market horses. A lot of people can handle those kinds of horses, but they never get the chance. He gave us the chance.

Yesterday he won a race and that put a smile on his face. That's how he was to the end. Nothing changed. Really he never seemed as old as he was, but I guess it was his time to go.
