five four rushes second trying
That second period, in probably a three-minute span, there were four or five odd-man rushes and they capitalized. We really let them take it to us in the second period. We're trying to get the system.
It's disappointing. The team's better than we showed, and that's the problem. We just weren't able to find any wins.
behind distance lost matter points talked team teams wins won
We talked as a team that his was a big game. If we won we'd be up by 10 points, if we lost we'd be up by six, so we wanted to put some distance between the teams behind us. It doesn't matter how pretty the wins are, we have to get as many points as we can.
anybody dumped front good great pass puck saw stick sudden threw
I saw 'Fro.' The puck got dumped in, so I just said, 'Oh, I'm just going to go to the front of the net,' and all of a sudden he had it. I don't know if there was anybody around me or not. I just know he put a great pass on me. He just threw it on my stick and it was in the net. It was a pretty good feeling.
guys next time
We need someone that's impartial, that hasn't been here a long time to get guys going to that next level.
We had a lot of opportunities, but we have to find some finish.
ask break chain consumer cut last owners price products realize run shelf sitting smaller store stores
The consumer has to ask for the deals. It's not the chain stores that are going to cut you a price break last minute, but the smaller independently run store owners who realize that if their products are still sitting on the shelf after the big day it won't do them any good.
behind bench growing knew people stands tape watch
It's always on. I watch the tape and I look in the stands behind the bench and I see people I knew growing up in my hometown.
anybody camp help stuff usa
I was pretty surprised. I didn't go to the orientation camp and I haven't done a lot of stuff with USA Hockey. ... They're just going with anybody they feel can help them.
That kind of epitomizes the way the tournament's been going for us.
believe fans hear
The fans still believe in us. We can hear 'em out there.
