hay sun
Make hay while the sun shines, that's our motto.
lots retired talk time
I never really talk about the other goalies. I'll have lots of time when I'm retired to talk about the other goalies.
clearing good guys puck rebounds saw
I saw the puck very well and the guys were clearing the rebounds for me so that's a good combination.
enjoyed happy playing
I'm happy to be here. Hopefully, we can get on a roll. I've really enjoyed playing here.
eliminated good hard last lead learn played second seemed team
They played hard for a team that's eliminated (from the playoffs). Once they got that second goal, it seemed to give them a lot of life. . . . The last seconds, I thought we did a good job. We need to play like that with a lead and learn how to keep a lead.
deserved work
I deserved those penalties, but sometimes you try to be proactive. It didn't work tonight.
fans hindsight obviously regular
It's a Catch-22. You want to show the fans what it's going to be like, but obviously they're going to get used to it during the regular season. Hindsight is 20-20.
focus focused guys helping hockey locker room sole team win
This is where I am. My sole focus is helping this team win some hockey games. Once you get in the locker room you've got 20 guys all focused on the same thing.
chanting crowd gave hear lift nice
I didn't hear the chanting but the crowd gave us a nice lift at the end of the game.
key puck tonight yell
I'm still getting used to the D and they're still getting used to me but I yell a lot out there. They let me see the puck tonight and that's key as any goalie will tell you.
flexible point preference
I'm pretty flexible at this point in my career. My preference would be to come back.
ankle felt fixed good hoping knew year
I knew I still wanted to play. I got my ankle fixed and that felt a lot better. I was hoping to have a good year and it's been really enjoyable.
certainly emotion good time win
Any time you win it's a good thing. Certainly there was more emotion here tonight.
arguably best came credit game happy later played seem sooner start talking tougher year
Better sooner than later because sometimes milestones, they seem tougher and tougher to get once you start talking about them. I'm happy that we came out and played arguably our best game of the year and a lot of credit to these guys.
