coach confuse confused team
Our defenses confuse a lot of people. It confused us when coach put it in. Once we get it, the other team is in trouble.
defensive figuring guys intensity normally steals
Our defensive intensity is getting there. Guys are figuring out what to do. We're getting steals like we normally do as Cyclones. That's our game.
defense everybody guys knowing learn
Our defense will come along. We've got young guys. I was young, too. You've got to get into the system. Everybody doesn't learn it fast. We've got to get guys knowing what we've go to do and tighten it up.
giving knew mad
They started getting mad at each other and yelling. We knew to keep going at them. They started giving up.
four guys inside putting quick three
They put four guys on the perimeter, and they'd been putting only three there the whole game. We thought they were going to go inside and get a quick two-pointer.
game guys home lost teams thinking uptight won
A lot of teams have lost at home and won on the road. When we're on the road, I think guys are more relaxed. You can't come in here and be all uptight and all thinking about the game too much. I don't know what's the real deal.
They made plays, and we didn't make some plays.
great help
They're great players, all of them. They're athletic, they get up and down the floor, they've got long arms, they press. They'll help on scoring, too.
easy steals
That's what we do. We get steals and get easy baskets.
open
They were in that 1-3-1 zone. They clogged the middle, so the 3-pointers were open a lot.
I'll be fine. It's something that will go away.
iowa next state
I'll be back at Iowa State next year.
four playing stay
I'm a player, and I'm playing for four years. I think Will (Blalock) will be here, too. We're together. We're a family. We're going to stay as a family.
anybody lose win worry
Hey, you lose some and you win some. We have to worry about us first before anybody else.
