carry confidence drivers easier hard matter nice rookie setup somewhere track win
It has always had a nice kind of grip, which makes it easier for rookie drivers to come in and get comfortable, but the setup is still hard to find. I think when you win somewhere you always carry that confidence into that track no matter what happens.

It drove great all day. We bounced off a lot of things, and it just continued to drive great.
car drafting driver good guys help knows race run
We were just out there drafting together. He's a good teammate. Some guys have their own agenda. But when you put him in the car, he knows how good a race car driver he is. He doesn't have anything to prove. If you give him a good car, he's going to run good. He's out there to help us and we're going to help him.
continued drive wheels
We bounced off a lot of things and it just continued to drive great. The wheels were still straight, and everything was still going in the right direction.
best capable driver great ground opportunity team top
We're making some great ground on these tracks. This is the best opportunity I've had as a driver and the team is really capable from top to bottom.
capable certain driver felt full given harder learn realized situations understand year
I've raced harder this year than I've ever raced before. You think you're doing all you can. I've always felt like I've given 100 percent, but you're put in certain situations and you find you're capable of doing more. Hopefully, I still haven't realized my full potential. I feel like I've got a lot to learn and as a driver I can get a lot better and each year I understand there's more to me than I even thought I had.
car career drive knew richard stick takes talked toward win
I really think that'll happen. I've informally talked to Richard (Childress), just so he knew I wanted to do that. I'll drive the No. 3 car toward the end of my career if I've done what I wanted to do at DEI, and that's win championships and win races. And I'll stick around as long as it takes to do it.
ask drivers few nascar sure
Because I am sure NASCAR is going to ask the drivers to make a few appearances over there, and I wouldn't have to go too far.

I think we're going to come into the Chase being top three in the points. We'll have six or seven wins this season, if not more.

(It) don't seem like five years. You know, it's good that he's still on people's minds, people still miss him.

I sure hope he doesn't get the lucky dog with this.

It'd be fun if we could run farther apart, but that's not going to sell many tickets.
