bad blew dual effects feeling good hard national race rather reputation states title treat win workouts
I have a reputation of having a really bad race before a good one. I had some hard workouts before states and I was feeling the effects from it. I treat every race the same. If I blew up in a dual meet, same as at states, it's not a big deal. I would rather win a national title than a state title.
feeling mentally
I did really bad, I was feeling really crappy. I was very tired, mentally and physically.
faster peak perfect plan race season six weeks
It was the perfect race for me. I don't even plan to peak for another six weeks at nationals, so this is better than I could have imagined. I'm going to be faster before the season is over.
anchored effect mentally national position pressure team
I was mentally prepared, I've been in that position so many times. Two years ago I anchored the national championship team in the 4 x 1 mile, outdoors. Pressure doesn't effect me, I don't even feel it.
