came foul great half hurt job match matt minutes quarter second taking talk third three trouble
I thought Pinckneyville came out and did a great job in the third quarter of taking away what we wanted to do. We always talk about the first three minutes of the second half is the most important part of the game. I just think we didn't match their intensity. ... And, I think Matt (Buren) getting in foul trouble in the third quarter really hurt us.
looking
Overall, we are looking at $637,000 to have our revenues and expenditures balance. That $637,000 comes out to about 2 mills.
basketball commend following great heck holiday job kids people prepared ready section senior since student support
Our student section and our support have been great. Ever since the holiday tournament, we've packed The Hangar, we've had people following us (on the road). ... They've done a great job. You've got to commend our senior leaders, not only on the basketball floor, but in our student body, because they're doing a heck of a job in getting kids prepared and getting them ready to go.
great playing western
I think playing at Western will be a great advantage, just because of the familiarity to it.
beat changing continue people scouting start stick stop understand
We've just got to continue to do what we're doing. You don't get to 25-1 then start changing things. We're going to stick with what we're doing and people scouting us are going to understand that's what we do and they're just going to have to stop that and beat that because we're not going to change.
anybody close early games good learn mistakes physical played prepare quick stretch struggled
We have to learn from some of our mistakes down the stretch and get better at it. We haven't played in a lot of close games lately. We kind of struggled a little bit. These games prepare you for the post-season. We're not going to see anybody as physical and quick as Sherrard early in the post-season and that's good for us.
ability breathed bristol business committee community dating events festival festivals good help homecoming hometown leaders life network oldest organize reason seemed successful year
We have a new committee for the Bristol Homecoming Festival, and this was our first year to organize it. All things considered, there seemed to be a lot of new life breathed into the event. The Bristol Homecoming Festival is one of the oldest festivals in Indiana, dating back to 1881. These are the kind of events we need to be successful at to help our hometown thrive. We need good ideas, the ability to communicate this to our neighbors, and community involvement to make this happened, which is one reason to network with business leaders in our town.
guys open opportunity shooting
When you're open, that's the opportunity you get. We had a lot of open threes. ... a lot of open looks. If the right guys are shooting them, then we're OK.
catch caught inflation rate
The rate of inflation has caught up to us, and we need to catch up.
fourth game plays simple stops stretch
We made more plays down the stretch than Bushnell and that's all there is to it. It's a simple game. ... You've got to make baskets and you've got to make stops. In the fourth quarter, we got more stops than they did and that's what it's about.
both difference ends
He makes a difference on both ends of the floor. You have to know where he's at.
against came finding job people shots
He came out and made some shots against us. We've got to do a better job of guarding and a better job of finding people and we didn't do that tonight.
advantage great talk
We talk about opportunities. And we have a great opportunity. ... You have to take advantage of your opportunities.
ball continues finds gets goes great job kid might nice nose offensive type
He continues to get better every game. He's the type of kid that you look at him and you might not know what he can do. Then he'll come out there and make a great move. He's kind of an old-school type of player. He's nothing flashy. He just goes out there and gets the job done. On offensive rebounds, he's got a real nose for the ball and he finds it. He just does a nice job for us.
