best crash crashed exit experience feeling felt good improve lap luckily okay quite rain start suddenly time today
We started calmly and I felt pretty good when suddenly I crashed at the exit of the first corner. Luckily I was okay and I could start again. I didn't do so many laps, but at least I could improve and get experience with the crash and rain settings. My best lap time (around 2.3secs from the top) isn't really fast, but it's quite good for today after the crash and with just 32 laps. Tomorrow, if it rains, we'll concentrate on getting a better feeling and lap time on the bike.

It's two seasons since I raced in Sepang and I'm looking forward to it now. It's a track where you have a little bit of everything - it's hard to ride, it's hot, there are fast and slow corners, hard braking, long straights and everybody has references from the tests. Nevertheless, we need to wait to see on Friday what the temperature and track conditions are like to understand how the tyres will work, because it's normally very slippery. I'm really enjoying racing at the moment and I want to continue like this, pushing the maximum from our side without thinking about the others.
