I spoke with our girls about our defensive intensity before the game. I think we surprised them with that today, but we lost that in the second half.

They were the heart and sole of this team. They did everything they could to win. They should keep their heads held high.

I was extremely proud at halftime. Now the game wasn't even over so I was trying to hide my pride because we had a game we could win, so I was very happy with their overall effort. Everyone had to do a little something extra to make up for what Casey brings and I thought every singe person did that.

We try to focus on defense first. What we try to do is create fast breaks off our press. Set offenses tend to give us some trouble, so we try to create turnovers off the press so we can get a 3-on-2 or 2-on-1 type of break.
