advice brought field guy injuries learning line listen offer scheme understand
I think those injuries actually brought us closer. It made us understand that we're one play from having a new guy line up on the field with us. All the young guys, they are like sponges. They listen to everything that we have to offer and all the advice we have. Learning the scheme is most important, and they have done that.
business everybody falls involved weight winning
I think he did what he could. Ultimately, everybody involved didn't get it done. Unfortunately, this is a production-based business and if you're not winning the weight falls on someone.
built came enthusiasm felt game nail
We just came out flat. I feel this game is built on about 90-percent emotion. I felt our enthusiasm was not where it should be to put a nail in the coffin.
attitude basically bought bull buy conscious effort felt football grabbed guys horns people stepped stood team together trying
We made a conscious effort and basically stood up and grabbed the bull by the horns and said, 'We're going to be different, we're going to be better. It all started with the attitude of the players. We felt like we didn't play together as a football team (last year). We stepped in and people bought into what we were trying to get done. ... The guys who didn't buy in aren't here anymore.
excited
We are excited about having Bledsoe back there. He's good, but we're going to try to get him down.
block eyes learn pop
Fullbacks usually look where they're going because they've got a big block to make. That's something you learn in Pop Warner: to read the back's eyes (before the snap).
college excited fairly grasped help system together
He's been well coached, in college as well as on our team, ... We all get together and help him out, and he's grasped the system fairly fast. I'm excited for where he's headed.
attitude australian head leg phenomenal power six speed straight won
He was just incredible. In six months, he won Australian championships -- he had phenomenal power and leg speed and his attitude even then was fight, fight, fight. He just went head in, straight away.
anybody believed bought care everybody knew special
I didn't care what anybody thought. I knew there were going to be some who believed me and some who didn't. But for the most part I think everybody bought in and thought we could be a special team. And we're going to be.
growing growth hopefully lines smart stunt time
He's a smart guy. He's getting better every time he lines up. But he's still got some growing to do, and hopefully we can stunt some of his growth this week.
finger players
I can't put my finger on what we need. We have enough players here to get it done.
adjusted attitude character finger love needs players turn
I can't put my finger on what we need or how many players we need -- I think we have the players here to get it done. There needs to an attitude thing that needs to be adjusted somewhat. But I love the character of this team. And I'll never turn away from that.
catch moss pass run type
T.O. is more of a dink-and-dunk type of guy. He can catch a 7-yard pass and make it into 87 yards, and Moss is just going to run the flat-out 87 yards.
ball beat covering full good mental mistakes open overcome physically responsibility team
When you make mental mistakes you give yourself no chance. Physically I don't feel like a team can beat us. It's about mental things. I take full responsibility on the play where 21 flared open and got that ball with no one covering him. No one is good enough to overcome that.
