whirlwind
Sometimes you have to go through a whirlwind to get stronger.
corner hit looking puck quick room tried
I was looking at the puck in the corner and I don't know what happened. It hit my eyeball, so I tried to get to the room as quick as I could.
players prove sure tough
I don't think it was necessarily just the players' decision. I think (Hartley) should be accountable, but that's not for me to say. It's tough to prove something like that and I'm sure their players aren't going to say anything.
eyes precious
It makes you sick. Eyes are a precious thing.
anybody game hit obviously stick within
I hit a guy. I didn't hit him with my knee. I don't think I did anything in the wrong. . . . I always look out for my own battles. If there's things that come within the game that they don't like, obviously I'll stick up for myself. I don't need anybody else to stick up for me.
guys veteran
There's a lot of veteran guys in the NHL laughing, right now,
bacon deserved eddie last owed saved three time
Eddie saved our bacon so many times over the last two or three years. It's about time we owed him one back. That's something we deserved to get him, that's for sure.
anybody anyone hand huge lightly night points taking task understand
I don't think anybody is taking anyone lightly anymore. The task at hand is more important than anything else. We understand two points is very huge every night for us.
game hard playing
It's the game of hockey. He's playing hard for his team, I'm playing hard for my team, and things like that are going to happen.
bad hit hurt maybe position pulled realized touched
I was going to hit him, but I was in a bad position and I realized I would hurt him, so I pulled out. Maybe I touched him. But I could have hit him and I didn't.
besides children family games heart hockey life ripped winning
It's heartbreaking to find out it's not going to happen. You live to the play in the playoffs. Besides having children and a family there is nothing better in life than winning hockey games in the playoffs. It's like having your heart ripped out.
chances game impressive scoring terrible
I feel terrible for him. It's not an impressive way to play the game when we give up all those scoring chances in the first 10 minutes.
battling eliminated gaining ground tough until
The not gaining ground part is tough but until we're mathematically eliminated we're going to keep battling and clawing and fighting.
club hockey integral lose parts tough
It's tough to lose two integral parts of your hockey club like that.
