He kind of defines what a pitcher is supposed to do. The thing is, he's never in the training room. For whatever reason, he's been given a gift to do that. I don't think the guy's arm has ever been sore. And I'm sure if it was sore, he wouldn't tell us anyway.

It doesn't really matter. They told me to get ready so that is what I'll do. It's more about getting my arm back in shape.
consistent execution given harder hit offensive runs time
At this time of year, runs are harder and harder to come by. Given that we haven't been getting hit after hit on a consistent basis, our offensive execution is going to be key.

I haven't thrown that way it two years. It's just a process. It's going to be sore some days. We're getting through it. It's nothing major. Just some normal stuff.

It's all part of the game. It's just the way it is. We lost, plain and simple. It's over. We play again. . . . I don't know what day it is. I know we get to sleep a day.
