Darrick David Martinis an American basketball head coach for the Reno Bighorns of the NBA Development League. He played basketball for more than a decade, shuttling between between the Continental Basketball Association, where he won the 2003 CBA Playoffs MVP, and the NBA. In 2003 he even played for the Harlem Globetrotters. He then went on to play for the Los Angeles Lightning of the Independent Basketball Association. Me and Mike (James) were talking the other day about it. This is very rare, to find a team that pulls together, all 12 guys. At some point, especially since we're having a rough season, you tend to have cliques that develop or people point fingers. And we don't have that on this team. That's very rare in the NBA.
