We were suffering much the same at this point last season and I'm sure some of these guys remember that. The only way we came out of it then was because we started playing as a team, which is a lot like what I'm starting to see now.

I attribute that to a lack of playoff experience. Playoff basketball is a little bit different. We hadn't seen this kind of atmosphere before and for us, our inexperience kind of showed.

Johann is so unselfish that he sometimes hurts himself. The reality is that he shoots the ball very well from the outside. So after halftime, I had to tell him, 'shoot the basketball' and he did. I just wanted to remind the rest of the county that this kid is a double-threat. He's not a kid you can just pack down on. He doesn't get stifled and he knows how to pick you apart.
consistent energy talented team
This is the most talented team I've had at Meade. We've had lapses in energy at times and we need to play with consistent energy, like we did tonight.

I thought Old Mill outplayed us in all faucets of the game. Quite frankly, they were the better team at the end of the day.
