Obviously, we don't condone this type of behavior. We will say that all three deputies came forward when we approached them with this information, which we received in an anonymous letter. From the get-go, we believe that they were truthful with us, and certainly that helps their cases, because it's hard to prove these things.

I don't think it's a random thing and they got lucky. I think they knew.

He tried to start a fire in the bathroom. We think he killed her and then tried to start the place on fire.

She has been known to sneak out in the past.

It's a borderline civil case. I can't say where it's going to go but, on the surface, there does seem to be some things going on that may not be legal.
