four game good guys nice played
Considering we started four new faces, we played a pretty nice game. It was our first game and I thought some guys played better than they have in practice. It was a good start.
careful changes work
Considering we had so many changes in the infield, to be doing this well is pleasing, but we still have things to work on. One through nine, you have to be careful with our team.
concerns controlled defense
It's a controlled happiness. One of my concerns was the defense and it's been erratic.

We might have to do some of that a little more this year. We didn't really hit and run last year, even though we practiced it, because we could steal a base when we needed to. We're not as fast this year, so we'll probably hit and run more. And we might have to bunt more than we did last year.
gotten great pitchers pitching playing positive wish
We have great pitching depth. Our pitchers have gotten a lot of positive experiences. I wish we were playing every day.
