I think we just placed our stones better today. We never made a messy shot. We forced a lot of pressure on Canada.
canada defeating nation
Defeating such a big curling nation as Canada, it's colossal.
bury chance hard hoping next time
It is hard to take because the chance was there. It will be with me for a long time but I am hoping we will get the chance to bury it at the next Olympics.
obviously ourselves owe playing
It's an old rivalry. It's been around for a long, long time. We're obviously playing for our country, but we owe it to ourselves to do this for each other.
consistent erase good icing last memories year
Last year was so disappointing. We just really wanted to erase those memories and it's been such a good year. We've been real consistent and this is just icing on the cake.
last thinking
That's the last thing I'll be thinking about.
recycle run
It is important to reuse our resources. If you don't recycle and reuse things, you may run out of them.
beating capable confidence days ends everybody gotten played result shown
The way things were going, I think we could have played 100 ends and not gotten a result here. When we play our best, we're capable of beating everybody here. I think that's shown in the stats, and there's still a lot of confidence in this team. You get days like that and you've just got to take it on the chin.
last might since win worlds year
This is just fantastic. I've always wanted, since I started curling, to win the worlds and after last year it was so disappointing I thought I might not get another opportunity.
hard shows together train work
It shows what you can do if you really train hard and work together as a team.
canada defeating far nation ourselves pride scottish sure
Defeating such a big curling nation as Canada, it's colossal. As far as Scottish curling goes, it's huge. There's a lot of pride at stake, making sure we do ourselves justice.
achieving biggest chance dream focused forward game looked medal mind revenge shot totally
That's fine. It's what we expected. We get a chance to get our revenge on Finland. We are going in very confident. This is the biggest thing for our sport because we have got a chance of guaranteeing a medal and achieving something we have looked forward to for a long, long time. You just have to be totally focused on what you want to achieve. It is a game of curling and the important thing is not to let your mind wander. If you focus and make every shot your dream will come true.
beat came good great hearts prepared quite teams trained
We really couldn't have done any more. We trained our hearts out and prepared as well as we could and came here and had some great performances and beat a lot of good teams but just never quite got the breaks.

You get days like that and you've just got to take it on the chin.
