It was a good season. I definitely didn't want it to end this way, but you don't always get what you want. I guess I could have worked a little harder.
carry definitely far undefeated
I had no idea I'd be undefeated at this point. It's definitely something I wanted. Hopefully, I'll carry this as far as I can.
feels feet finish good guts hard taken time worry
It feels good (to be undefeated). That's the first time I've been taken down from my feet this year. But I got that over with. I don't have to worry about that. I've been working hard all year. I've got the guts to finish it.
coach deserves helped looking past perfect record state tournament
The perfect record is awesome, but it's not really that important. I'm looking past that. I want to go to the state tournament and get some hardware. My coach (Don Cooley) has really helped me out. I think he deserves some recognition.
