I don't think anybody of the eight that are left are going to be wishing Tiger was here. You never know who is the hot player, who's the guy with the hot putter. It's still match play.

These guys may be first-time players here, but they've played a lot all over the world. They come off the NIKE Tour and the European Tour, and they're tough. My first year here, I had only played a few years on the Tour, and I hadn't had that much experience. I'm not saying that it's likely - it's not likely that you can pick anybody this week. There are some guys playing well coming in, but it's hard to pick.''
cup deserves group presidents team twice win
There's a group of us that really want to make the team and to win for Jack. He deserves a Presidents Cup win after going around the world twice and not getting one.
bad gets great hard imagine playing seems time
It seems like every time he gets close, he has another bad tournament. It's hard for all of us to imagine playing great, and it's also hard to imagine when you're playing great to be playing bad again.

It was one of those days. When I hit a bad shot, I never got away with it.

I had tears in my eyes. He wanted so bad to play and Jack picked him (as a captain's choice). That gave him a lot of confidence. I'm just thrilled for Freddie. He's one of my best friends and he played great.

It was a difficult day. It was hard to control the ball and then it quit raining, but it got cold. My hands got cold and the ball didn't want to go anywhere.

He's a very gritty player ? perfect for match play. I hope he's on our Ryder Cup team because he certainly knows how to play match play and play under pressure.
