Ally played an awesome game. I loved the way she played today. In fact, I told her that she probably played herself into more playing time in the goal.
factor wind
Basically, we didn't get the wind first in overtime. That's not why they scored, but psychologically it was a factor. It was very much a factor all day.
danny earliest fast hard nick skill time
Danny is as fast as Nick Knight. Once his skill catches up with that -- probably by midseason at the earliest -- he's going to be a threat. Defensives are going to have a hard time with him.
box jessica kicked trapped
Jessica kicked it into the box to Rebecca. She trapped it and scored it.
gave run team
On paper, this is a team that should've killed us. We gave them a run for their money.
girls teach team trying
The girls will get to see where I want them to be. They'll be able to play a team that will show them what I'm trying to teach them.

The wind was pretty strong. I don't know what it was like in Leavenworth, but in Topeka it was pretty harsh.

She's no secret. We like to run a lot of things through Rebecca. She's a good player and has the most experience.
controlled fought half played second time
We played the first half like it was our first game. We played terrible. But we controlled most of the second half. We were down and fought back for the first time (this year).

To be honest, they dominated the midfield, but created no scoring opportunities. Except for one and they put it away.
